After discussing it a few weeks ago, the Redmi Note 9T returns to be talked about. The smartphone has in fact just been caught on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with model number “M2007J22G”.
Redmi Note 9T caught on Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 800U CPU
The model number was leaked earlier on Thailand's NBTC and Malaysia's SIRIM certification sites, confirming that this is the next Note 9T.
In any case, the Geekbench benchmark shows us that the smartphone is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and an ARM MT6853T processor. According to what we saw earlier on Geekbench, this processor should be a MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G.
So what had been suspected for several weeks would be confirmed, namely that the Redmi Note 9T will be a rebadge of the Redmi Note 9 presented in China at the end of November. Unlike the latter, however, the Note 9T probably will not have a variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory, as is available for the Chinese one. At most we will be able to see a version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
In addition to RAM and CPU, Geekbench also shows us that the Redmi Note 9T will debut with the Android operating system on board, so once again it follows in the footsteps of the Chinese Note 9.
As for the other specifications instead, we remind you that the Chinese Note 5G adopts a 6.53-inch diagonal display with Full HD + resolution, 1.500: 1 contrast ratio, an aspect ratio of 19,5: 9 and is covered in Corning Gorilla glass. Glass 3 to protect it from scratches and drops.
