
Xiaomi has just launched its popular tablet Redmi Pad Pro of 5G version for the Chinese market, following the announcement of the global version. Initially available only with Wi-Fi connectivity, the new 5G model is now on sale in all major e-stores in China.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G stands out for its dual SIM support, offering 5G connectivity for both SIMs. Other specs and features remain unchanged from the previous Wi-Fi-only model. The device is equipped with one 12,1 inch 2.5K LCD screen with resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It can reach up to 600 nits of brightness and supports Dolby Vision. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The tablet is powered by a Octa-Core Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor up to 2.4GHz, paired with an Adreno 710 GPU. It is available with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 1.5TB via microSD.

As for photography, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G includes one 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. It has four speakers with Dolby Atmos support and dual microphones.
The tablet it measures 280×181.85×7.52mm and weighs 571 grams. Connectivity options include optional 5G, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ac) on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C 2.0. It has a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Finally, the tablet runs on HyperOS based on Android 14.
Prices and Availability:

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G 6GB + 128GB model will be sold in China at price of 1,999 yuan (about €255), while the 8GB + 256GB model has a price of 2,399 yuan (around €306). It is available in Dark Gray color variant in China. The tablet is expected to debut in the global market in the next few days.
