About a month ago the news came out that Redmi's first tablet would be released shortly. Well, today some important news has appeared online.
Redmi Pad leaks in a render: design similar to Mi Pad 5 Pro 12.6
Thanks to the new leaks we can in fact take a look at the renderings of the next Xiaomi Mi 12T Pro and Redmi Pad. As some of you already know, the Xiaomi 12T Pro should be the local version of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition launched in China a few weeks ago , whose appearance and specifications will be substantially identical.
As for Redmi's first tablet, the images show that the device is expected to use an all-metal body with a right-angle bezel and a single camera on the back. In general the shape of the camera module looks very similar to that of the Xiaomi Pad 5 in the recently launched Pro 12.6 version.
Furthermore, we already know that Redmi's tablet has already been certified both in China and outside the Asian country. The certification information shows us that the device will have a built-in 7800 mAh battery and will run with the MIUI 13 operating system from the factory. The tablet only supports WiFi networks and there is no 4G / 5G version.
Previously it was reported that the device will be equipped with a 10,6-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2000x1200 and support for a high refresh rate.
As for performance, the tablet will be equipped with the MediaTek MT8781 processor, which is based on the 6 nm process and is manufactured by TSMC. Also thanks to these details we can understand that the positioning of this product will be the entry-level level. So a great tablet for use as an online study, video viewing and other light activities.
This also means that the price of Redmi's first tablet will be truly exceptional, we are talking about a starting price of less than 1500 yuan (216 euros).
