The new Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is ready to make its entry onto the market, and thanks to a series of leaked details we can now reveal its specifications and price. This compact tablet, scheduled for July 29 in India, offers some interesting features that set it apart.

The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 will be powered by the processor MediaTek Helio G85. This chip, released in April 2020, is made with 12nm technology and offers reliable performance. It has two ARM Cortex-A75 CPUs with a main frequency of up to 2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 processors with a main frequency of 1,8 GHz. The eight-core system shares a large L3 cache. Furthermore, the tablet will have one 8,7-inch LCD screen and 1340 × 800 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and brightness of 600 nits. The certification TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light and support for DC dimming ensure a comfortable viewing experience.
The Pad SE 8.7 will then be equipped with one rear camera by 8 SM with an aperture of f/2.0 and a front camera from 5 SM with f/2.2 aperture. The b6650 mAh battery supports the quick charge from 18W via USB-C port. Additionally, the tablet will have stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support for immersive audio.
The tablet of the XIaomi sub brand will run with the MIUI Pad 13 based on Android 14. It will support dual SIM and offer up to 2TB of expandable storage. We will also have a door for headphones from 3,5 mm, Bluetooth 5.3 e 5 GHz Wi-Fi. For navigation, the tablet will support GPS, AGPS, Beidou, Glonass and Galileo.
Finally, regarding the price, the version 4 GB + 128 GB Redmi Pad SE 8.7 Wi-Fi only it will be available at the price of 169 euros. An interesting option for those looking for a functional tablet without spending a fortune.
