Redmi prepares a Pro version smartband for Italy and Europe

Redmi has in mind to launch a new smartband according to what emerged from a recent certification that appeared today on an Italian portal. Apparently, the giant wants to continue working on this product. In Europe this smartband is not officially arrived with the name of Redmi Band, but how Xiaomi Mi Bank 4C. The company name instead is shown on the one launched in India. But that said, it looks like the behemoth is gearing up to launch a whole new fitness band this time around Pro.

Redmi SmartBand Pro should be the name of the company's next wearable device, coming both in Europa in that Italy. Within the database of the certifying body of our country we discovered its existence. Below are the screenshots of the certifications, both English and Italian.

Given the certifications, we can not say anything else except that this smartband could be none other than the Redmi Smartband 2 (or Redmi Band 2). The certification only shows the name Smart Band but, as we can see in the first image above, the device is called differently. In any case the model number of the product will be M2101B1, the same number we saw months ago within a certification Bluetooth SIG. Below is the image that certifies the certification by the body.

The certificate clearly states that the device will come with equipment charging via USB and Bluetooth 5.0 (LE) connectivity. Further details are yet to be released. This new smart bracelet, however, does not have other certifications so we cannot say with certainty what its will be technical. In the meantime we recall some specifications of the first generation device.

Unlike Xiaomi's Mi Band, the main body of the first Redmi Band is rectangular in shape. On the front there is a 1.08 ″ OLED display, activated by pressing the touch button below. Navigation in the menu is done by scrolling. Inside there is a heart rate sensor. The tracker comes with a standard USB connector which can be connected to a laptop or an external battery.
