Redmi, known for its high-quality technology devices at affordable prices, is making significant inroads into the tablet market. After the launch of the Redmi Pad Pro in May 2024, equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, the company looks ready to go further with a new gaming-focused tablet.
Redmi Working on a Gaming Tablet with Snapdragon 8 Series Chip

According to a Weibo post by Digital Chat Station, a reliable leakster, Redmi is working on a Flagship tablet with a compact design and an LCD screen. This device, which was in prototyping stage in August, expected to be launched in 2025. The leakster recently updated the information, stating that the tablet will be gaming-oriented and will feature a Snapdragon 8 series chipset.
In terms of performance, Redmi’s upcoming gaming tablet could surpass Xiaomi’s flagship Pad 7 tablet series, which will include the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro models. These devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively, and will feature 11,16-inch LCD panels.
