Redmi Turbo 4 caught on IMEI, will arrive next year

After launching the Redmi Turbo 3 in April, Xiaomi seems to have already started work on the next one Redmi Turbo 4. This new device, which will be rebranded as POCO F7 for the global market promises to bring with it advanced technical specifications and significant innovations. According to the latest information, the Redmi Turbo 4 will be officially presented in the second quarter of 2025, so the wait will be long, with a period of 8-9 months before the launch.

That said, the Turbo 4 was recently spotted in the IMEI database by Gizmochina, with the model number “2412DRT0AC”. The last letter of the model number, “C”, indicates that this smartphone will be exclusive to the Chinese market. However, global users need not worry, as the device will be available internationally under the name of POCO F7. The series POCO F7 will be officially announced in May 2025.

The final letter of the first model number, “G”, represents the model that will be sold in the global market, while the final letter of the second model number, “I”, represents the model intended for the Indian market. This distinction allows Xiaomi to adapt its devices to the specific needs of different markets.

Although full details on the technical specifications of the Redmi Turbo 4 have not yet been revealed, there are some interesting previews. The device is expected to feature the latest Qualcomm processor, probably it Snapdragon 8S Gen 4. This suggests that the Turbo 4 will offer high performance and consequently a smooth and responsive user experience.

The launch of the Redmi Turbo 4 is scheduled for April 2025, while the POCO F7 will follow in May 2025. This timing is in line with previous launches, such as the POCO F6 and the Redmi Turbo 3, which were introduced just a few months ago. So we can only wait these months that separate us from the presentation waiting for further leaks or official info.
