During a recent interaction with fans of Xiaomi, the General Manager of REDMI, Wang Teng, has hinted that the launch of the REDMI Turbo 4, scheduled for this month, has been postponed. This news comes as a surprise as the device was highly anticipated for its innovative specifications and futuristic design.
REDMI Turbo 4 delayed, will be launched in 2025

According to rumors and leaks, the REDMI Turbo 4 is expected to be the world's first to mount MediaTek's Dimensity 8400 processor, built on TSMC's 4nm process. This chipset is positioned as a high-end alternative to the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 platform. The Dimensity 8400's CPU consists of one 3.25GHz A725 core, three 3.0GHz A725 cores, and four 2.1GHz A725 cores. The GPU is a 720GHz Immortalis G7 MC1.3. With an AnTuTu score of over 1,8 million points, this processor promises exceptional performance, even superior to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
The REDMI Turbo 4 has been described by the Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station as the best looking device from REDMI this year. The smartphone is expected to come with a large battery and maximum battery life, making it ideal for users who demand high performance and long-lasting battery life.

In line with the pricing strategy of MediaTek's Dimensity 8 series, the REDMI Turbo 4 is expected to be priced below 2.000 yuan (about 260 euros). This positioning makes it extremely competitive in the mid-range smartphone market, offering flagship performance at an affordable price.
To better understand the expectations for the Turbo 4, it is useful to recall the specifications of its predecessor, the REDMI Turbo 3. Launched with a 6,67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, the Turbo 3 supported a 120Hz refresh rate. It was powered by the Dimensity 8200 processor, with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The 5.000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging ensured good battery life. Additionally, the rear camera system included a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
