Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi, recently confirmed that the long-awaited Turbo 4 Pro will be officially launched in China next week, with the presentation set for April 24thHere’s everything we know so far about this promising device.
Redmi Turbo 4 Pro: launch date and specifications confirmed, but not only
According to the images that emerged through the certification on China Telecom, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will have a modern and robust design. It will be available in three color options: white, black and green, offering a choice for every taste. The device features an elegant body with a completely flat display and defined edges, making it visually appealing. With dimensions of 163.1 x 77.93 x 7.98 mm and a weight of 219 grams, the phone aims to ensure a balance between practicality and style.
The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is expected to come with a 6,83-inch flat LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1280 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120Hz, ensuring a smooth and detailed visual experience. On the photographic front, the device will include a 20MP front camera, ideal for high-quality selfies, and a system dual rear camera with a 50MP main sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.
For performance, the Turbo 4 Pro will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor (SM8735), paired with memory configurations reaching up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. A 7550mAh large capacity battery with support to quick charge from 90W will ensure autonomy and practicality for intensive use.
On the software front, the smartphone will be launched with Android 15 customized with HyperOS 2.0. Additionally, it will include an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.
The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will come in four memory and storage configurations:
- 12GB + 256GB at 2.099 yuan (about 280 euros)
- 16GB + 256GB at 2.399 yuan (about 320 euros)
- 16GB + 512GB at 2.799 yuan (about 370 euros)
- 16GB + 1TB at 2.999 yuan (about 395 euros)
Among other leaked features, the Turbo 4 Pro will include a metal frame, an IR emitter, and IP68/IP69 certifications for water and dust resistance. The device will feature a sturdy central frame, ensuring durability even in harsh conditions.
It is worth mentioning that the standard Redmi Turbo 4 model has already been launched globally under the name Little X7 Pro. Following this precedent, the Turbo 4 Pro is expected on international markets with the name Poco F7, making it an interesting device for markets outside of China as well.
