Recently, news has appeared online about the upcoming smartwatch of the Redmi brand, the Watch 3 Lite. In fact, Chinese media had noticed that a Redmi smartwatch with the model number M2247W1 had been certified on the South Korean NRRA certification site. The listing revealed the design of the smartwatch along with other key details. Well, today the same Redmi smartwatch with number “M2247W1” appeared in the SIRIM database.
Redmi Watch 3 Lite global ever closer: SIRIM certification arrives
According to the SIRIM listing information, the Redmi M2247W1 smartwatch will be launched under the name of Redmi Watch 3 Lite. The certification did not reveal any further information but it is clear that Redmi is gearing up to launch the smartwatch globally in the coming days.
Previously, the Redmi Watch 3 Lite was spotted on the EEC certification website and also appeared on the NRRA website. This smartwatch is said to feature a rectangular face, a button on the side, and comes with a detachable strap. At the bottom of the device is a heart rate sensor and a charging port.
It is worth mentioning that in December last year, Redmi Watch 3 was officially released. This smartwatch features a square face, 1,75-inch AMOLED display, high-definition resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 600-nit peak brightness, and water resistance to 50 meters.
In addition, the Redmi Watch 3 is equipped with various health monitoring functions, supports more than 100 sports modes and self-recognition of 6 sports modes, and can intelligently select the sports mode according to the user's usage status; also supports GPS positioning, Bluetooth voice calls, SOS emergency calls, etc. In terms of battery life, the normal battery life of this smartwatch is 12 days and the battery life is 7 days under heavy usage scenarios.
