We are getting closer and closer to the presentation of the next series of RedmiBook Pro laptops, which as we already know will be launched on February 25 together with the new Redmi K40. In the last few days before the presentation, the brand has begun to reveal more details on the upcoming laptops. Today perhaps the most interesting of all has been revealed: design.
RedmiBook Pro in the official teaser: MacBook-style design at a fraction of the price?
As we can see in the image above, Redmi has almost completely revealed the design of the RedmiBook Pro. The laptop seems to adopt an all-metal body, most likely inspired by Apple's MacBooks, not that there is anything wrong with it.
We also note the presence of a large touchpad, so it will be faster and easier, as well as more accurate, than smaller touchpads. On the plus side, we also have edges that seem decidedly thin, for a more immersive user experience and a smaller overall size.
What may not please everyone is the lack of a dedicated numeric keypad on the right side of the keyboard, but this has now become difficult to find on more compact laptops. There is also the possibility that the one in the picture is the RedmiBook 14, therefore from 14 inches, while the 15-inch variant could arrive with the numeric keypad, but honestly it seems very difficult.
In any case, a very slim and attractive overall design if you are looking for something MacBook style but clearly much cheaper.
As for the internal specifications, the RedmiBook Pros will be powered by Intel's Tiger Lake H35 series processors. The new line of 11th generation quad-core processors adopts 10nm technology with a TDP of 35W and Intel Xe graphics. In particular, according to benchmarks leaked in the past, we will have two versions with 5th generation Core i7 and i11 with Core i5-11300H CPU and one with Core i7-11370H CPU. Both laptops come with 16GB of RAM and run on the Windows 10 operating system.
The brand is also expected to present the RedmiBook Pro 15S series with AMD Ryzen processors. In this case we have the version with Ryzen 5 5600H CPU in two options with 8 GB of RAM or 16 GB of RAM, while the more performing Ryzen 7 5800H model was previously seen with 16 GB of RAM.
