Review Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro
As said during the our unboxing, Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 6 also appeared in our market even before a real official presentation. A marketing strategy poco clear from Xiaomi, to which we will try to make sense with the our complete review, made possible thanks to the sending of the sample by HonorBuy.it.
The unboxing experience for this Redmi Note 6 Pro is the same that we are now used to with other terminals of the Chinese brand, proposing a orange sales box with Global Version logo on the sides while inside we find the following equipment:
- Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 6
- User manual in English
- Pin for removing the SIM tray
- Cover in smoky color TPU
- Cable for charging and micro USB data transfer
- Charger with European socket and 5V / 2A output
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro inherits a lot from the previous generation and does not upset the aesthetics, except for some details that actually make the smartphone slightly narrower with dimensions equal to 157,9 x 76,4 x 8,2 mm and a weight of 180 grams, increasing the ergonomics of the terminal even if it can not be defined as compact. But if from an ergonomic point of view we immediately notice a slight improvement just as we can not say for the materials used. In fact, although the back cover is made of metal with the exception of the upper and lower band, decidedly rounded, to improve the reception of the antennas, the profiles blend with these bands and are therefore made of plastic. A clear step back from Redmi Note 5 Pro.
That said, the back houses one dual traffic light camera with relative dual tone LED flash and fingerprint sensor, which as always is characterized by speed and accuracy in the breakouts, as well as offers the possibility of being used to take photographs or block access to certain applications by third parties. The use of plastic on the profiles, however, helps to eliminate the "soap effect" while at the level of aesthetics we find the classic layout that the company has always offered us. Power button and volume rocker on the right and SIM trolley on the left, able to accommodate two SIM cards in nano format or 1 SIM in nano format and 1 micro SD to expand the internal memory, with support up to 256 GB, provided you give up the Dual SIM Dual Standby functionality.

Apart from the dimensions and the notch, the screen is the classic that accompanies the mid-range devices offered by Xiaomi, with chromatic rendering more than satisfactory, excellent viewing angles and colors rather faithful to reality, although these are not very vivid. Also worth noting the good touch feed and good visibility even under direct sunlight (450 nits) but be careful if you use polarized sunglasses because the screen is not visible vertically.
We can certainly not complain about the price but there was no upgrade compared to the previous generation, so maybe the hopes lie in the notch... but no, because like all Xiaomi smartphones that adopt this notch at the software level there is no possibility to manage notifications in the status bar. I personally do not find it a big limit, but I share the thought of those who do not digest this lack. Fortunately, there is no lack of it possibility of regular contrast and colors, enable the reading mode and double-tap to activate the screen, camouflage the notch, reverse the order of the keys (back and menu) or hide them altogether by exploiting them full screen gesture. On a negative note, the Widevine certification of 3 level which translates into the fact that you can enjoy streming content via platforms like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video in 480p resolution only.
But surely, you say, Xiaomi offers us a more powerful and new hardware device. Well you are wrong, why Redmi Note 6 Pro inherits in all respects the components seen on the previous model. In fact, under the hood we find the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 to 14nm, 1,8 GHz clock and Kryo 260 architecture, Adreno GPU 509, 4 GB of memorized RAM of type LPDDR4X 1333 MHz Dual Channel e 64 GB of internal storage XMMUM eMMC expandable via micro SD. The coupled CPU / RAM does not disappoint allowing the user, in any situation, to benefit from fluidity and stability of the system without ever recognizing any overheating even after considerable stress caused by games that require huge effort on the part of CPU and GPU.
At the level of connectivity, finally, there is no lack of WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac dual band (2.4 / 5.0 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / GLONASS / A-GPS / Beidou from the quick fix and signal coverage always present, FM radio while the NFC is absent. Promoted reception and volume on call always good, thanks to the 20 band support as well as the possibility of using the 4G connectivity for both SIM cards with the Dual 4G function or use the VoLTE. Audio in clean capsule and also our interlocutor feels in a crystalline way. The speaker, which also acts as a speakerphone, even if it is mono, offers a very high level of listening volume that perhaps suffers only in the low frequencies.

Also I could see some shortcomings at the software level as the ability to put a full screen video through the Mi Video app. In my test period no updates have arrived, and it is hoped that Xiaomi will release the MIUI 10 as it did on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, maybe on an Android 9.0 Pie basis, so that these bugs are fixed. Fortunately there is the full support for Project Treble.
In terms of autonomy, Xiaomi for its Redmi Note 6 Pro brings all the experience gained over time and puts it to work with a unit from 4000 mAh with ready for quick charge Quick Charge 3.0, even if the charging is done via micro USB input. In any case, the smartphone will take us in the evening without any effort and, for the most economical, even half of the day after. In fact, it is not difficult to arrive at 6 display hours on. The recharge, with the charger in the 5V / 2A package, takes approx 2 hours and 20 for a full charge.
Finally, we come to the latest news concerning Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, linked to the photographic sector, as on the smartphone there are well 4 rooms. Also the focusing Dual PDAF it is quick and precise, basically a snappy thread but nothing particularly annoying while I could verify the lack in software related to the choice of the fire if manual or automatic. Who knows maybe Xiaomi has taken away this function because no one was using it?
Among the functions of the camera software we find the time lapse, the slow motion (120fps 720p), theAutomatic HDR but also considerable filters applicable to photos in real time. The photos obtained from the rear cam are vivid and detailed especially in broad daylight but unfortunately in low light conditions we are not there yetthe integration of artificial intelligence and new algorithms to improve the yield was not enough. Indeed another novelty regards the integration of the AI with recognition up to 205 scenarios and subjects including fish, technology that is also integrated for the frontal chamber.
A dual camera also on the front that should ensure better performance about the bokeh effect in the portraits and that to be honest to a careful eye the difference is noticeable, but in my opinion is not such as to justify an upgrade from the previous generation to this. But perhaps this slight increase in yield is dictated by the use of a better main sensor and perhaps a more elaborate algorithm at the software level, because in the tests performed by me, the second camera seems to be inactive. In fact, from the MIUI test menu, although apparently it is possible to make some shots, these are actually obtained at 20 MP resolution, belonging to the primary and not secondary optics. However, the photos captured from the front room are of appreciable quality but sometimes the automatic exposure tends to burn the secondary scenarios to the subject framed. The positive thing is that by sharing the same hardware as Redmi Note 5 Pro, the new Xiaomi device will be able to install the GCam Mod with the necessary modding operations. Finally, the possibility of unlocking the smartphone through the Face Unock (also with Italy region), rather quick and reliable even in low light conditions it will be better to rely on the fingerprint sensor.
Conclusions
We could therefore see and find that Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro looks like a heated soup by Redmi Note 5 Pro, And that the improvements actually took almost a step backwards. In short, if for Xiaomi the number 8 is lucky, it can not be said the same as 6, in fact, even with Redmi 6 compared to the past model the Chinese company has done flop. However Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro from the point of view quality / price could be recommended in the segment of affiliation but perhaps with the fall in price of Redmi Note 5 Pro, the title of best buy can never be entrusted to him.

The lecture vidéo (sur n'importe quelles plateformes) is saccadé et sans son.
Les audios sur Snap chat ne fonctionne pas non plus.
Est-ce un soucie du téléphone ou du processeur ??
