Super Charge Turbo Charge to 100W: Closer than expected?

The past month we showed you a more interesting technology of the last few years that would allow the smartphone to be recharged in the blink of an eye, we talk about ultra fast charging at 100W. The company behind this innovation would clearly be Xiaomi which seems willing to equip it on the next flagships of the future.

In the tests produced and published online by the brand, we had seen a device with a large 4000mAh battery capable of being fully charged (with the smartphone turned on) in only 17 minutes thanks to 100W Super Charge Turbo technology.

Returning to today, a Chinese user fan of the company would have asked the co-founder and president of Xiaomi Group, Lin Bin, when this technology will go on sale. The boss's response was not long in coming, Lin Bin said that "we are working diligently".

An answer that does not make us understand how close or distant this ultra-fast refill from seeing the sunlight is, but that at least reassures us that Xiaomi wants to bring it to the market as soon as possible. Perhaps even at the expense of a launch aboard a new flagship, which would not suggest a close date following Xiaomi's schemes.

For those who were not aware of it, the current charging technology on board Xiaomi devices has a maximum power of 27W and we find it on the Xiaomi Mi 9. We then have wireless charging, which in our opinion is even more impressive with 20W. The wireless flash charge is in fact the 37% faster than the ordinary one that usually stops at 10W.

As for the other production companies, the fastest recharge currently on the market is the one created by OPPO, namely the SuperVOOC at 50W, used on the Find X Flash Edition, OPPO Find X Lamborghini Edition and the OPPO R17 Pro.

Therefore, you understand that Xiaomi's Super Charge Turbo charging to 100W would be an almost epochal breakthrough for the world of mobile technology.

But won't it damage the battery?
My old fast-charging S8 warmed up a lot.

Obviously like all fast-charging technologies, it must be used only when necessary!
It is unthinkable a daily use like "night table", I ruined batteries on batteries on the mi5 by making this mistake (becoming so expert in disassembling it that I replaced it in 8 minutes).
Honestly one problem I see is the impossibility of choosing the charging speed, why not give the user the option of the type of charging?
Why can't I use a fast power supply for slow charging?
Mhaaaaa!
