Roborock, brand part of the ecosystem Xiaomi, has officially launched its latest cleaning robot, the Roborock P20 Ultra, designed to offer a combination of advanced efficiency and intelligent features with a starting price of 3.999 yuan (about 520 euros).
Roborock P20 Ultra Released: It's Only 7,98cm Tall
One of the distinguishing features of the Roborock P20 Ultra is its ultra-thin design, with a thickness of only 7,98 cm. This makes it ideal for reaching hard-to-clean spaces, such as under furniture, beds, sofas and cabinets. Its navigation ability is improved thanks to the Dual Viewing Angle LDS System, which allows a lowered position to enter tight spaces without compromising mapping accuracy. In open areas, the LDS sensor rises, providing a panoramic view and a deeper scan of the environment.
The back of the robot integrates a large 100° window, which maintains precision during navigation even when the sensor is lowered, avoiding problems of losing the map or positioning.
The Roborock P20 Ultra introduces the first 0-tangle cleaning system industry. Through a four-step process (“roll, collect, detach and vacuum”), the robot can remove even long hair without any problems. The device is equipped with a main brush with bristles angled at 45° and a soft rubber blade, which maximizes debris collection and improves efficiency thanks to the powerful 22.000Pa suction force.
The side brush adopts a spiral arc design with soft rubber ribs, ensuring complete coverage along the edges and inner corners, without the risk of tangling. In addition, the telescopic function allows for effective cleaning on any surface.
As for the floor cleaning function, the P20 Ultra includes an updated system with 12N pressurized mop, adjustable on 30 levels of water volume to keep the cloth constantly moist. The mop rotates at 200 rpm, managing to eliminate stubborn stains and guaranteeing sterilization of up to 99,99%, in line with the certification requirements for child-safe environments.
The robot is designed for easily tackle obstacles up to 4cm, such as thresholds and carpets. The automatic mop lift function detects the presence of carpets and raises the cloth to avoid accidentally wetting the surfaces. The combination of brush and mop with lifting functions further improves cleaning and separation between washing and vacuuming.
In terms of intelligence, the P20 Ultra is equipped withReactive AI to avoid obstacles. A new height perception module, integrated with a RGB camera and a structured light module, can recognize 108 types of objects in 26 categories, improving three-dimensional navigation.
La new base 2.0 The Roborock P20 Ultra integrates eight main functions, including Cleaning the cloth at 80°C, automatic dust collection and self-cleaning, ensuring up to 170 days of minimal maintenance. The AI 3.0 mode It includes the RRmind GPT intelligent interaction model and supports advanced voice control via APP.
Another interesting feature is the Pet Mode 3.0, which automatically identifies pet-related areas and cleans them thoroughly, providing a personalized experience for users with pets at home.
