Although the Roborock S7 is already one of the best robot vacuum cleaners with mop function and an exclusive cleaning technology, the Chinese manufacturer, part of the Xiaomi ecosystem, has just launched several upgrades marked "MaxV" at the CES 2022 that is being held at Las Vegas like every year.

The brand has launched a total of three versions which include the Roborock S7 MaxV, S7 MaxV Plus and S7 MaxV Ultra. All models have the same functionality and differ only in the docking station. The Roborock S7 MaxV offers a suction power of 5100 Pa and brings new technology to recognize objects and other obstacles and avoid them if possible. The Roborock robot vacuum cleaner has in fact a video camera for viewing images in 3D and RGB mode.
The three vacuum cleaners come with a 400ml dust container and a 200ml water container. It can clean an area up to 300m2 on a single charge and last up to 3 hours in silent mode. Of course, there is the sonic mop with the automatic lifting of the mat when the vacuum cleaner climbs the carpet, which is the most interesting feature that came with the original model.
In any case, as already mentioned, the individual versions of the Roborock S7 MaxV vacuum cleaner differ in the different docking stations. The base model will be sold in Europe for 799 euros and offers only a base docking station with charging; the S7 MaxV Plus version will cost 999 euros and has a docking station with automatic emptying.
Finally, there is the best equipped model, the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which will soon become the most desired robot vacuum cleaner. The S7 MaxV Ultra model is priced at 1399 euros and comes with the docking station that allows the automatic unloading of the garbage that the vacuum cleaner has sucked up and at the same time the automatic refilling of the water in the mop tank. The result is virtually maintenance-free cleaning.
