Roborock S8: more powerful
Roborock S8 adopts a two-rubber roller system which offers higher cleaning efficiency and solves the problem of hair tangling. Also, Roborock has increased the suction power. Instead of 5100 Pa, which the Roborock S7 MaxV reached at its peak, the Roborock S8 achieves a suction power of 6000 Pa.
Roborock S8: effective washing with VibraRise 2.0
Roborock has also introduced a new version of its mopping system VibraRise. The cloth is bigger and an additional module has been adopted for the vibration that now reaches the 3000 times per minute and generates a floor pressure of 6Nm. When it meets a carpet, the cloth is automatically raised by 5mm to avoid damaging or wetting it.
Roborock S8: 3D obstacle recognition
even the 3D obstacle detection has been improved. It is able to identify and circumvent up to 42 different objects and together with the navigation system PreciSense LiDAR, the Roborock S8 creates a detailed room map and selects the optimal cleaning path.
