Xiaomi is already working on what will be one of the flagship smartphones of 2017, the highly anticipated Mi 6. The use of Qualcomm chipsets by the Chinese company is almost obvious and the idea that the future top of the range can be equipped Snapdragon 835 processor is no surprise. The real news is that the device may have multiple variants with different processors. The rumor started from the famous leaker Kjuma, who with a post on his Weibo page revealed three variants of the device, called Mi 6S, 6E and 6P.
The news is certainly to be taken with a grain of salt, since it is a rumor, but the possibility that Xiaomi has decided to undertake a different market strategy from the one we are used to is not to be excluded. The clues lead us to believe that one of the variants can mount the Helio X30 processor, while the third would be equipped with the processor produced by Xiaomi itself, called Pinecone.

Another hypothesis, much less plausible, is that the 6E version can mount an Exynos chip instead. According to rumors, Mi 6 would be equipped with 6 Gb of RAM, 64/128 Gb of ROM, 4000 mAh battery and 3D Touch. The software part would instead be entrusted to MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat 7.1. For now we just have to wait for further news that can verify the genuineness of the Kjuma leak.
