Redmi K80 Series Certified in China with Snapdragon 8 Elite

The Snapdragon 8 Elite, Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset, introduces a “2+6” architecture and marks the debut of the second-generation in-house developed Oryon CPU. Compared to the third-generation Snapdragon 8, the single-core and multi-core performance of the Oryon CPU in the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition is up to 45 percent higher, with a 44 percent improvement in power efficiency. Compared to the Apple A18 Pro, the second-generation Oryon CPU has a performance advantage of up to 40 percent.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite GPU adopts a slicing architecture, with three independent GPU rendering units operating at a frequency of 1.1GHz. This design enables dynamic management of resources based on the workload, significantly improving the power efficiency of the GPU.

The entire Redmi K80 series will come with a 2K screen as standard, with a capacity of battery that reaches 6000mAh. This ensures long battery life even for the most demanding users, making these devices ideal for gaming and multimedia entertainment.
Wang Teng suggested that the K80 series will see a price increase, due to the adoption of the latest 3nm process technology for the flagship processor, which has significantly increased the manufacturing cost. After a year of continuous price increases, the cost of memory has also reached a critical point, making this wave of flagship devices more expensive than previous ones.
Despite this, Wang Teng said that the K80 series will be a revolutionary product, capable of surpassing many of its competitors in terms of competitiveness.
We just have to wait for the first official teasers and then the presentation by the sub brand of Xiaomi.
