Xiaomi it is not new to the market of Smart TVindeed it is among the most profitable sectors of the company. Let us remember that in India it is the first brand for sales, covering the 39% of the market share positioning yourself before Samsung, Sony and LG which are far more navigated than Xiaomi. Not only in India but also in China this is the case: it is the first brand for number of sales in the smart TV sector. A few days ago the general manager of Redmi Lu Weibing asked users on Weibo, a bit as a joke, if they would be happy if this company had produced some Smart TV. No time to say it ...
Smartmi Redmi TV: the brand's first TV receives 3C certification
In fact, on the site of the mandatory Chinese certificate, the first one Smartmi Red Tv that responds to the code name L70M5-RA, he received this certificate dated 19 July this year.
Like all leaks coming out like this, we have no way of knowing the specifications of this new one Smartmi Redmi TV, but without doubt we can say that the launch is imminent. Some rumors they give it with one screen from 70 ″: actually it could also be seen that the code name would contain this number... but nothing is still certain. Obviously, as with all products certified by this institution, to start will be available only for the Chinese market but it is not excluded that it will also be exported to Europe. Certainly we can say, and no one can overlook it, that even for Smart TVs the brand will offer ultra-competitive prices that will make the OEMs tremble that we mentioned above: the same goes for the TVs as for the smartphones and in fact, a product that to all effects is a top of the range like the Redmi K2O with Snapdragon 855, is offered with prices just above the average of a medium range (forgive the pun).
We just have to wait. But meanwhile, use one Xiaomi Smart TV? If yes, you are intrigued by one Redmi?
But can these redmi and xiaomi TVs be used in Italy or are there problems with digital?
Hi Giovanni! To be compatible here in Italy the televisions must be DVB-T2 certified. Since the Xiaomi TVs, at least for now, compatible only with the DTMB which is the Chinese standard, cannot be used by us. If you buy one of these devices on a store like Gearbest, you will find written that it is not compatible.
Perfect thanks for the info
