Sony it is a company that, at first glance, could produce few things. In reality, the giant has hands everywhere: from smartphone cameras to professional sensors; give her consul to headphones. Sony has set out to outdo itself and is moving beyond its PlayStation consoles. Here is a patent tells us about smartphone controllers
Sony has patented what appears to be a PlayStation controller but designed for smartphone games. Basically it is a Razer Kishi-like for Android, but with all the features of a PlayStation controller. The patent, released this week by Sony's Japanese division, describes a system for playing games on a paired device two handles of the controller.
If such a device were to materialize, it could be used in combination with a smartphone to play PlayStation games via Remote Play or through the cloud. We have seen a similar thing with third-party controllers. These can currently be used to play Xbox games via streaming but also using other platforms.
