In the package I found a USB-C cable for charging, rubber tips of various sizes and the multilingual user manual, including Italian, where I found various information, including the scheme for using the touch functions. There is also the possibility of downloading the official SoundPeats application on your smartphone and using it to manage the earphones, but we'll talk about that later. The sales package compared to other products of the brand is much more refined, so much so that the actual package opens like a box containing jewels, which in our case are precisely the Capsule 3 Pro +, very light and comfortable when worn. We are talking about a weight of only 5 grams for each earphone and about 48 grams for the case containing the headphones. The audio experience with these earphones is complete and engaging, a luxury for the ears ranging in every musical genre, also given the great versatility that the equalization choices offer, from the preset ones, to the manual one, up to the adaptive equalization mode, all configurable through the companion app. We find the Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, a recognition that attests to their ability to reproduce a sound with a resolution higher than that of standard audio CDs, so the combination of these audio technologies makes them an excellent choice for those looking for a high-quality, detailed and faithful to the original sound.
ANC, Transparency Mode and Calls

First of all, we are talking about a noise reduction of up to -45 dB and a 1.8 KHz band, which corresponds to a bandwidth that guarantees a clean cut of medium-low frequencies, offering a more natural and less muffled sound. This technology uses a combination of external and internal microphones to detect and analyze environmental noise: by analyzing the structure of the ear canal, the position in which the earphones are worn and the environmental noise, the headphones adjust the noise reduction in real time to balance comfort and effectiveness. Let's be clear, in no type of earphones on the market, the ANC technology will be able to completely suppress the noises around us, but I can assure you that the Capsule 3 Pro + come very close, offering a high reduction in background noises, for example in the car it seems like the engine is off and you are not in traffic.
Thanks to the quality of the microphones and the background noise and wind reduction functions, calls are very clear and sharp, both for us who wear these earphones and for those who listen to us. In fact, we have a total of 6 microphones (3 for each earphone) while at the hardware level we rely on a Bluetooth 5.3 WQ7034AX chip, capable of reducing latency to just 70ms in the appropriate mode, ensuring synchronized audio and images for an immersive gaming experience. The possibility of connecting to a double device is excellent, for example to manage music on a PC or tablet and answer calls on a smartphone. The only thing is that in this mode we could not use the LDAC codec.
Another listening mode is called Transparency, a useful function especially if we consider the type of earphones, namely in-ear, which already provide a certain isolation from noise. But we know that this is not always a good thing. In fact, this mode was designed to allow the user to remain aware of the surrounding environment: an extremely useful function when you are moving, for example while running or walking, or when you are in situations where it is important to listen to what is happening around you.
Autonomy
The SoundPeats Capsule 3 Pro+ offer a 35 mAh battery for the earphones while the unit inserted in the dock is 500 mAh. There is no wireless charging but only in wired form via Type-C cable, with a charging time of less than 1 hour and a half. The overall autonomy is surprising, counting on 6,5 hours for a single charge, without using ANC and LDAC codec, reaching a total of 43 hours with the additional charges provided by the box. It is possible to use the individual earphones independently, effectively doubling the autonomy.
Application and touch controls
To manage some settings or to update the firmware, we find the new PeatsAudio app available on both Android and iOS devices. We have the possibility of activating an adaptive equalizer, that is, defining a personalized listening threshold based on your hearing (low, medium, high frequency signals will be sent that you will have to receive and if necessary answer yes or no to what is requested), but we can also choose between some presets or create our own equalizer. We can activate the game mode, check the battery levels and activate/deactivate the touch controls, which can be useful in some cases. The Capsule 3 Pro+ offer complete touch controls, with which to manage music and calls, but it is also possible to call up the voice assistant of the associated device, adjust the volume and change music listening mode, also enjoying the ANC function.
