Many users are waiting for this update more than they expected for MIUI 11, but finally there's something new: in the version closed beta of Chinese ROM a suspension of the release of updates has been reported for Redmi Note 7 / Pro and Xiaomi Mi 8 precisely because of tests related to Android 10.

The affected version is MIUI 9.12.16 of the Chinese beta. When this type of "hitch" occurs, it means that the development team is concentrating on the release of the new version and in this case it is the one that brings Android 10.
This is good news not only for closed beta users but also for those overall. This is because it normally passes only a few weeks before the update "comes out" of the closed beta before reaching the public and then finally arriving at Stable China. Obviously the update has yet to be tested and only then will the public beta be released. A few months, but hopefully less, from the release of Stable China then it will be time for us too poor global users. Forecasts? We cannot know it but if we look at the historian, within two months the owners of Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro could receive the update.

A great news also comes for the owners of Xiaomi Mi 8. Today in China a very substantial update of about 2 GB which, in addition to the fix of various bugs, brought the highly anticipated Android 10. Unlike the previous devices, however, the update for the Mi 8 has arrived at Stable China version and therefore the waiting time for us global users is definitely shorter.
We remind you that the innovations provided with Android 10 they are numerous: it passes from the Dark Mode (even if the latest news are not exactly rosy as regards the integration of this feature), to the possibility of cshare more quickly thanks to Shortcuts; also regarding the speech fluidity many improvements will be made since the apps in the background will be limited relatively the use that each user will make of it, with a consequent speed increase and used RAM savings.
