Returning to the news in question, Xiaomi has published on its portal Xiaomi Security Center, a list of 6 different models that will remain without official support and therefore will not receive the new HyperOS but above all will be cut off from major Android updates and security patches.
The list in question includes the names of: Xiaomi MIX 4, Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Pad 5, POCO F3 GT, POCO F3 and Redmi K40. The time has come for these models to end their life and the only hope to see improvements will be to rely on Custom ROMs and modding in general. One of the real problems encountered when a smartphone/tablet is not updated is that relating to privacy and security in terms of vulnerability.
