An industrial analyst answered this question who unveiled the probable presentation date of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3!
The user from his Weibo page has indeed replied that the next Xiaomi smartphone equipped with an OLED screen and successor to the Mi Note 2 is scheduled for the third quarter of the 2017, between September and October. He also stressed that the supply situation of these screens is always quite tense, so the Mi Note 3 will use Samsung and LG screens to try and cope with the demand.
The information given by this analyst was also confirmed by a South Korean news agency, The Investor, of the Herald Corporation group, according to which LG will provide Xiaomi with curved screen panels for the Note series which will be released in the last half of the year.
Xiaomi has already used LG curved panels for the Mi Note 2 but their production was not high so there were subsequent supply problems. However, Samsung continues to dominate the OLED display market, keeping the price of this component high, although, as LG's production capacity gradually increases, the cost is expected to decrease.
It is also expected that both the Note 3 and the Mi MIX 2 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 835 chip along with many other innovations, while the price should remain below 3.000yuan (about € 407): at this point, what would you choose among the Mi 6 and the Mi Note 3?
