The future of Android and Chinese devices, how far will the updates be imported?

Il Google I/O it ended and Google did not waste time to show the future of the world Android, there have been important novelties so it is right to ask: "how will the Chinese technology's ecosystem react to these innovations"?

During the Google I/O was presented the new operating system of Google"Android L"Successor to KitKat, Google he immediately made it clear he wanted to make it Android a unique and unified system.

The new version of Android, which will bring better performance, better graphics, improved battery life, up-to-date applications, the transition defined ART and much more, will bring with it also a new design, the "material design". This new design has been designed to unify the experience of using Android, of Google Chrome, of Chrome OS and everything that makes up the software package Bigg, in short, the summary is: "unified design for a unified ecosystem".

All these innovations make software updates even more important than before, as most of these new features and functionality will be the result of updates so "what will happen to the Chinese industry"?

Google also announces that from the hardware point of view it will be right Google to pilot developing markets (emerging) through Android One, a project for the creation of devices with hardware reduced to the essentials, but which can guarantee a complete and low-cost Android experience.

It is assumed that from a software point of view the situation will be much more complicated. If we take as an example some Chinese giants such as Meizu will benefit from the situation, as they are accustomed to a constant support for their software. Instead, companies like Oppo, Xiaomi, Living e nubian they will have to speed up their update times considerably, which at the moment are not very fast, obviously for updates we refer to the version of Android that their systems are based. But we already know that they will, as they are large, solid and important companies, ready to dive headlong into all the aforementioned sectors.

Instead the case of OnePlus it is more isolated, even if it is not a major manufacturer there is a possibility that the OnePlus One receive updates before that Google release them (again ..).

We also talk about the smaller Chinese producers, what will happen to them? Of one thing we can be sure, it will no longer be possible to wait for the titanic times that MediaTek employs for source release. All these small manufacturers who base their software on the times of MediaTek, they would offer products that are not suitable for the new ecosystem, which includes communication between the various devices and much more.

On the one hand, there is a need for processor manufacturers such as MediaTek, there is a lot more focus on software development, on the other hand, small producers should find better solutions.

A while ago we talked about that Zopo start using the color OS di Oppo on your devices. This type of solution could prove to be the most appropriate choice, as manufacturers could rely on already complete software, instead of depending 100% on MediaTek.

Let's take the example of the photo app of many smartphones from companies such as Zopo, iOcean o JiaYu is made by MediaTek. This does not mean that the application is invalid (we are definitely not saying that), but it does mean that the dependence of these manufacturers on the part of MediaTek is total. To adapt to the latest in the world Android, instead serve more flexibility and shorter refresh times.

All devices that will not receive upgrade to Android L, will in fact be heavily penalized, even more of the devices that have been upgraded up to KitKat. But even without the need for new devices, with the transition to ART CPU Support a 64-bit and the introduction of new energy saving systems and more, make the update to Android L more important than the characteristics of the smartphone itself.

What do you think is the right path to follow? It will depend on MediaTek? Chinese companies will choose other manufacturers of SoC? We will use the ROM of the largest companies?
