The Lenovo S898T for only 90 euro could be the new Redmi Killer!

The phrase "Hongmi Killer" (now updated in "Redmi Killer") has been used in the last few months very often, but in fact the Hongmi seems to enjoy still good health ... It will be the new Lenovo S898T octacore the true Redmi Killer ??

Xiaomi Hongmi, now known as Redmi, is a solid phone with good features and a great price, but it's starting to show its age and design has never been its strong point. We have already seen important Hongmi rivals launched by Huawei, Beidou and others and now it's Lenovo's turn with a slim smartphone and at the price of only 90 euros (in China)!

Xiaomi Redmi Notes

The Lenovo S898T will be available in two versions, the model from 788 Yuan (about 90 euro) will be equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, and the version from 988 Yuan (about 116 euro) with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of memory . What we like about the S898T is that it has an OGS display from 5.3, among other things LTPS and, therefore, can also be used with gloves or with wet hands.

Lenovo will offer the S898T with the supplied octacore MT6592 chipset from 1.4Ghz (same as the Entry-level Redmi Notes) but with an option for 2GB RAM, which should provide more performance than most users. The phone will also feature a 13 mega-pixel and 5 secondary camera.

Still no information on the battery provided, but the body of the phone should measure just 7,9 millimeters, so we should not expect a very large battery. The only neo of this device is connectivity, currently available only in version TD-SCDMA and therefore not compatible with European 3G networks. We hope for a WCDMA version to be released soon!
