Will the two configurations of Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 be marketed separately?

While Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is certified in China, rumors are racing about a staggered launch between the version with Snapdragon 870 and the low cost version with Qualcomm SD860 processor. One should therefore be marketed first and the other after. Let's find out more details.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5: the configurations will be launched at different times

It is now established that the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 tablet will be released in multiple configurations. The ultra and high-end versions that will be equipped with a processor Snapdragon 870, while the less powerful low one will be powered by a chipset Snapdragon 860.

According to a new leak published on Weibo, the iterations will be launched separately. The Mi Pad 5 with Snapdragon 870 will come out first: in addition to the processor we have seen, it will also integrate a 48 MP main camera and support for 67W wired fast charging. The Ultra version will support a 5G network connection. It will therefore be the first Xiaomi tablet that supports 5G. In addition, the certification site shows us that it will support one 67W super flash charging, this will also be a first for Xiaomi and probably for the entire tablet category.

The lower version is expected to launch later - it will cost less and will have a 12MP main camera and much slower 22,5W fast charging technology than the more powerful configuration.

In terms of basic configuration, according to information revealed by the well-known Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi tablet will use one 2K LCD screen with an update rate of 120Hz. In addition to having a powerful flagship configuration, Xiaomi's new tablet PC is also expected to see a significant upgrade in terms of interacting with the operating system.
