Unboxing
We can take pleasure in the TOZO HT2 right from the sales package, which is very accurate, with details and product specifications. which is well protected by a sponge that protects the headphones from small impacts. There is also a QR code on the packaging that can be scanned to verify the originality of the product. Inside the package, in addition to the headphones, we find a concise user manual with basic information on the headphones and instructions for use and a small cardboard box containing the Type-C charging cable and a 3.5 mm AUX cable for wired connection to devices. Unfortunately, there is no carrying bag, considering the foldable design of the headphones.

Design and comfort
The TOZO HT2 headphones are available in eight colours: light blue, black, red, khaki, pink, violet, orange and white, all very beautiful and sophisticated, capable of satisfying the more or less classic needs of users, both young and old. . The earmuffs automatically adjust the angle to conform to different head shapes, making them ideal for working from home or watching movies

The design is quite classic, typical of over ear models, which wrap the entire ear inside the driver pavilion. Despite the economical nature of the product, TOZO's proposal convinces both in terms of construction, in fact I have not noticed any creaks or poor plastic, indeed the adjustable headband integrates a metal core. Comfort during use is also excellent, both for the headrest and for the ear cushions, made of soft material, a sort of vegan leather that does not oppress the skin, letting it breathe, a very positive thing if we think about the use of the TOZO HT2 in sport activity.

The bow is made of thicker and denser plastic. This doesn't make the headphones bulky and heavy, but it does make the charging area more durable. As anticipated, the length of the headband is adjustable while the ear cushions are extremely soft to the touch, adapting well to the ears, improving acoustic insulation. Each bowl has a retina with identifying signs of the right and left ears (R/L), while the speakers are 40 mm dynamic. For transport you can fold the headphones compactly.

On the outside of each driver, at the bottom, are the main microphones with noise cancellation and ENC technology. All the controls are located at the bottom of the right ear cup and specifically: the button for quick switching to noise cancellation/transparency/normal mode, the USB Type-C charging port, 3,5 mm jack input, a small status LEDs, the multifunction on/off button (play/pause, answer/end call, voice assistant recall and last call recall via 1/2/3 taps or long press) and finally the volume rocker which, through long press, allows also skip between music/video tracks.

The cup completely covers the ear and provides good noise isolation. The design of the headphones is designed for long-term wearing without excessive discomfort. The headphones are not bulky when worn and viewed from the side. The size adapts well to different head sizes.

Audio and Hardware
At the beginning of the test, the headphones could only be connected to one device but with the recently received update, the TOZO HT2 can now be paired with multiple devices at the same time but if there is an incoming call while listening to music, the music does not stop: it sounds quieter and the voice assistant in the background notifies you of the call and the possibility of answering. They are equipped with 3 ENC microphones with call noise cancellation function, isolating from the context, for clear and crystal clear conversations, for example in crowded places. The Hi Res certification then offers high quality audio, further enhanced by the OrigX Acoustic 2.0 technology, even if the supported codec is only AAC/SBC.

TOZO HT2 deliver an extraordinary audio adventure with impeccable audio quality in any environment. Bluetooth 5.3 guarantees connection stability and low latency, which can be totally eliminated via AUX cable, although smart functions such as ANC cannot be used in this mode. Speaking of ANC, the reduction is not drastic but ideal for trips on public transport or crowded places, while if you want to remain alert to the surrounding environment you can take advantage of the transparency mode.

Unfortunately at the maximum volume (exceeded 80%) there is a slight deterioration in the quality of the sound reproduction, but nothing serious, because the volume in general is decidedly generous and I have never felt the need to smash my eardrums with volume at the highest level. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised by the reproduction in general, both for speech and music, enjoying clear audio, a warm presence of the bass and in general a balance of the sound spectrum on every musical genre.

Application
The TOZO application is available for both iOS and Android systems. We can view the remaining battery charge level but above all access the more detailed settings of the headphones. We can in fact update the firmware, create a personalized equalization curve or draw on the 16 audio presets but above all you can take advantage of 6 audio modes available including transparency mode, wind reduction, adaptive mode, normal mode, leisure mode and Active noise cancellation ANC.

Naturally, through the application you can manage multiple TOZO brand devices but also enjoy a selection of songs specifically for different moods.
Autonomy
The TOZO HT2 headphones provide up to 60 hours of listening time on a single charge, a value that can be obtained without using the ANC function, or 40 hours with active noise cancellation enabled, thanks to the use of a 500 mAh battery. Charging takes place via Type-C cable in about 2 hours but in reality it is worth underlining that these headphones can also be used in a traditional way, i.e. wired via AUX cable, therefore having infinite autonomy available, ideal for example for long journeys but also to completely reduce latency, for example in gaming or in production such as video editing.

Conclusions and price
The opinion for these TOZO HT2 is decidedly positive, offering quality sound for little money. They were elegant and reliable in managing calls and listening to audio. Available in different colors to satisfy all tastes, TOZO's proposal is undoubtedly a valid alternative to semi-professional products, which often offer less but at higher prices just because of the brand name.
The various audio and noise reduction modes, as well as the transparency mode, allow you to range in use from the more classic one in the living room to the more sporty one, such as running on the treadmill in the gym without worrying about battery life. The companion app is excellent, offering the possibility of adapting the sound of the TOZO HT2 to your preferences. These headphones are also recommended for those who, like me, wear glasses and spend long hours at the computer.
