As did?
The unboxing experience of the TRIBIT XSound Plus 2 is not exciting, as inside we only find the speaker, a multilingual instruction manual (including Italian) and a USB-A/USB-C charging cable. For the rest, the device is very elegant overall, showing rounded lines mostly covered with silicone rubber and then we also find a strap with which to hang the speaker or possibly twist it around the wrist even if the weight is not exactly the most contained, to be precise, 580 grams plus dimensions that make the object portable but not always to be held in the hand.
TRIBIT I can already tell you that the supplied speakers guarantee a reproduction rich in details and clear and that Bluetooth 2, although not the latest standard on the market, guarantees zero delay and premium connection stability. The DSP and advanced amplifiers benefit from the patented XBass algorithm, which takes care of elevating the listening experience to new levels, with a bass power never heard on a wireless speaker, without distorting even at maximum volume.
Another positive thing to underline about the TRIBIT XSound Plus 2 is that the integrated Bluetooth allows you to connect the speaker to two sources simultaneously, with very quick switching between sources. We can therefore manage, for example, music on a smartphone and calls on another device. Just turn on the speaker and, if it is the first time it is started, it will immediately go into pairing mode waiting to be paired. If, however, you want to connect it to another source, once turned on, simply press and hold the Bluetooth button to start pairing mode. In reality, wireless mode is not the only way to use the speaker, in fact on the back side of the product we find under a door that guarantees IPX7 waterproofness, the Type-C charging input but also an AUX input for connect devices not equipped with Bluetooth technology, such as old MP3s.
I mentioned the buttons earlier and in the case of TRIBIT , but also manage music/video and call controls via a single button. The central button in fact offers more functions including play/pause, skip music track by means of 2/1/2 quick clicks or if held down for about two seconds we can call up the smartphone's voice assistant or in call mode we can answer, hang up or refuse the same. Yes, we can also manage calls with our TRIBIT XSound Plus 3, as it has an excellent built-in microphone with a quality for our interlocutor comparable to a smartphone and therefore use the device as a speakerphone.
Then we have the button that offers the TWS and Party modes already mentioned previously and finally the equalization button, which recalls 3 predefined ones, including EQ off, XBass and Audio Book mode, the latter responsible for enhancing the tones of the voice. Naturally, in addition to our TRIBIT But the app also offers the possibility of setting an auto shut-off to conserve battery, updating the firmware with the improvements that the company releases over time but a clever thing, in case you are far from the TRIBIT XSound Plus 2, you can act on the commands remotely, within the Bluetooth range, about 2 meters in an open field.
Speaking of battery, we find a double 2400 mAh cell which allows a playback autonomy of 24 hours with the XBass function deactivated, offering a whole day of immersive sound. As already mentioned, our speaker is IPX7 certified, which guarantees immersion up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes.

How does it sound?
But are you wondering what this wonder sounds like? Very powerful, damn strong if we think about the size of the product. Naturally it is not a product for audiophiles, but for all "normal" people this TRIBIT XSound Plus 2 is the definitive solution for hosting parties, listening to audio books or relaxing in the living room listening to good music or watching TV series, enhancing the special effects. It expresses itself best in closed spaces, but it is also able to make itself heard outdoors, too, for example during a barbeque with friends or in the private swimming pool listening to the latest hits of the moment.
We can listen to everything, from genres such as techno music to reggae, but also classical music, being able to decide whether to enhance the low tones of some genres thanks to the XBass mode or via the app's EQ to define the best nuances for lounge music, pop etc.. The audio is superb in every condition and with every genre, but as I was saying we can also convey the quality of the sound spectrum when listening to audio books and if someone really annoys us with a call, we can manage it with the same quality .
Conclusions and price
TRIBIT XSound Plus 2 can be found on Amazon, which currently offers a €10 discount coupon redeemable from the purchase page, bringing the final price to around €55. At this price I don't think you can ask for anything better, in fact you will probably find poorer products at a higher cost. So if you are a lover of good music and want a high-performance solution capable of livening up evenings with friends, rush and buy it and you will find yourself singing at the top of your lungs. Just be careful of your neighbor, who could send the police to your house. The only negative aspects, if we really want to find any, are the absence of a micro SD or USB input for listening to music from these media and not necessarily having an active connection with the smartphone and the fact that the charging input does not allow use the device as a sort of powerbank, a function seen on other products of the brand.
