TV Xiaomi the best sellers in China and India: when to arrive in Europe?

Xiaomi is known above all for the large amount of smartphones that it puts in circulation almost every month, for tablets, laptops and for its gadgets always very interesting. Someone, however, perhaps does not know that the Chinese colossus is also one of the biggest TV producers on the Asian territory, or at least that's how it closed the second quarter of the 2018.

Xiaomi is now the first smart TV brand in China, with an increase in global sales of 350% including those in India and a few other countries.

In today's conference, held at the Golden Mile Hotel in Beijing, Xiaomi spoke about their strategies for their TV sector. In particular, Wang Chan, head of Xiaomi TV, has made it known that Xiaomi TVs have already reached 10% market share compared to all TVs sold in India. Specifically in the famous Indian online store Flipkart, where the company sells 56.6 percent of the smart TVs on the platform; an excellent result. And the same can be said of the neighboring country: Sri Lanka, where sales are no less.

Nonetheless, Xiaomi continues to focus on the Chinese market where it wants to open new channels for direct sales and cooperate with a greater number of electronic chains.

TV Xiaomi the best sellers in China and India: when to arrive in Europe?

The success of Xiaomi TVs is apparently due to the high quality standards used by the company. Their products are in fact more reliable with a failure rate of 0.64%, roughly half of other traditional TV manufacturers.

According to the Omni-Cloud's (market research company), the TV industry has experienced single-digit growth in the last few years, which is less than 10%. On the other hand, Xiaomi's smart TVs managed to achieve an increase in 312% sales in the first half of this year, while in the 2014 they were up to 443%.

This kind of news obviously makes us very happy as we support Xiaomi and for the most part we adore their gadgets. But today we are not yet able to buy this kind of products, unless you decide to import directly from China with consequent fairly salty customs expenses.

What do you think about it? Would you buy a Xiaomi TV if it were available on Amazon or other reputable sites? And would you prefer it to a Samsung, LG or Panasonic? Comment below the article!
