We talked about Nintendo Switch in the past few days, revealing how the Japanese company decided to reduce production. The fault, as we know, always lies with chip crisis. The portable console will finally have a very useful application to follow live broadcasts: Twitch. The app is now available for download and the launch has been announced on the platform's official website, as we see below.
With the Twitch app for Nintendo Switch we will be able to watch live streams, follow users and interact on the platform, however they are there some limitations:
- they can not send chat messages directly from the console. To do this, you need to scan the QR code displayed on the console and type the message on your mobile phone.
- It is not possible stream live directly from Nintendo Switch, but the app works in both portable and docked mode. Twitch, via a spokesperson, says:

A really welcome novelty, albeit with limitations. Either way, the Twitch app can be a nice addition while Nintendo Switch doesn't get apps from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Spotify and other streaming platforms. Maybe that's good, considering it started out as a device for the Gaming. But considering that too Netflix has now added games… Maybe a little thought would have to be done.
