It seems that Mi Note 2 and Mi Mix are not the only surprises that Xiaomi has prepared for the end of 2016: it seems that the Chinese Apple is planning the launch of two devices in the next two months. The two models in question are still a mystery, since we're not talking about the recently announced Mi 5C or Mi 6. Xiaomi 2016111 and 2016112 (this is the provisional "code name" by which they are known) have been spotted on TEENA, the Chinese certification body that makes sure that the products meet certain standards before being put on sale. The source is safe, as it has allowed us in the past to get to know the Mi 5S Plus and the Mi Note 2 before the official presentation. On the Chinese portal there is a brief overview that accompanies the two models and allows us to learn something more. Both devices are equipped with a 5 ″ TFT screen and HD resolution, aluminum alloy body, 1.40 GHz quad-core processor, 2 Gb of RAM and 16 Gb of ROM (expandable up to 128 Gb in the 2016111 model). The operating system will be Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 interface. The photos show that the two smartphones will be equipped with a fingerprint scanner on the back.
The rear camera will have a 13 Mpx sensor, while the front one will have a 5 Mpx one. There will also be Bluetooth, GPS, 4G LTE and FM radio. The battery will be 3030 mAh, more than enough for a device of this range. The price is not known, but according to rumors it should be between 100 and 150 euros.
