Cordless vacuum cleaners have undoubtedly changed and improved the way we clean our homes. If we think back to the old corded and bagged vacuum cleaners, we feel like we are back in prehistory. The amount of products on the market is nothing short of exaggerated and it is therefore difficult to understand which product to buy. Today I will talk to you about Ultenic U12 Vesla an interesting product even if it can be defined as entry level but from a reliable brand and therefore worth considering for purchase

CONFEZIONE Ultenic U12 Vesla
The package is so small, 43x30x20cm, that when the courier delivered it to me I thought there was a mistake! I couldn't believe there could actually be a vacuum cleaner inside. Unfortunately it did not arrive with additional packaging, so the product packaging is the one that will be transported, not a good choice to avoid any transport damage. You have to trust in the professionalism of the courier as the upper part of the package is not particularly protected from possible knocks, so good luck. Inside we find:
- Tank motor body Ultenic U12 Vesla
- Shrink tube
- Removable battery
- Motorized floor brush
- Brush for furniture and miscellaneous
- Narrow nozzle for confined areas
- Replacement filter
- Wall support
- Feeder
- Instruction booklet

PARTS AND ASSEMBLY
The core of our vacuum cleaner is the part block motor + powder tank where we will also find the LED display and where the battery will be housed. The battery is removable so perfect if you have to buy an additional one if you have a huge house to clean; but don't worry, the autonomy is really good and you will be able to do everything with one charge. The battery is recharged when inserted in this way, the remaining charge will be shown on the display.

The tank is obviously removable to be able to throw away the dirt without taking the entire engine block with it. In any case, it is also possible to empty it simply by unlocking the lower cap, using a dedicated button, while it is still attached to the engine. My advice is to use this method if you have little dust to remove, vice versa if it is much better to remove the entire tank block. Inside you will find the part of the filters, including the HEPA filter, which are in turn removable and washable under running water. Remember to let them dry well before using them again. We also have a replacement HEPA filter included, which is obviously very welcome.

To remove the tank, simply press the button you will find underneath where the battery is attached. Below is an explanatory video of how to disassemble and reassemble everything.
The retractable tube, already seen on some Proscenic models (cousins), goes from a minimum of 45cm to a maximum of 70cm. Honestly, I haven't yet understood the real use of them... if the flexible ones are undoubtedly useful in case of cleaning under furniture, sofas, etc., in our case I don't understand what the point of lengthening and shortening the hose is. Perhaps to adapt it to the height of those who have to use it. In any case, to adjust the length, simply press the button you find about halfway down and pull (or push) it. Cleats will ensure anchoring.

The tube will be hooked to the motor unit and from the other end to the motorized brush.

Motorized brush whose roller (anti-tangle) can be dismantled by moving the small selector which will allow you to release the latch. In any case, it will be useful to dismantle it and clean it when you notice any accumulation of dust inside or on the fabric of the brush.

Here we find the gem of this vacuum cleaner, namely a strip of green LED lights, a color that is truly excellent for detecting every small particle of dust. In fact, the manufacturer specifies that the choice of color was made precisely for this purpose

In addition to the motorized brush that will work well for every surface of our floor (ceramic, parquet, carpets, etc.) we will have 2 other very useful accessories supplied, the crevice nozzle ideal for vacuuming in all those places that are normally unreachable (car, furniture, crevices, sofa cushion inserts, etc.) and the combined brush perfect for cleaning delicate furniture, PC keyboards, curtains, etc.

As a last accessory I want to mention the wall mount. It seems like a small thing but I assure you that all those that do not have it are really uncomfortable, you never know where to put them after using them. So it is good that it was included in the package. Of course there are fishermen and screws to mount it.

SWITCHING ON – PROGRAMS – LED LIGHT
The control block is located in front of the handle and specifically we will have:
- On and off button
- Suction power change button
- White LED light on and off button

To start the vacuum cleaner, simply press the power button and by default it will be in power mode 60. The modes are 5: 30 (eco), 60, 90, 120, 150 (auto). It goes without saying that the suction intensity will increase as the level increases and to do so you just need to press the appropriate button with the 4 squares. If the first 4 powers are selectable, the AUTO power (150) will be enabled on its own if there is a dust blockage in the tube and maximum suction power is required. I didn't understand why to put it on the display even if it can't be selected manually.
We also have at our disposal a convenient white LED light located in front of the engine block. Very useful to use when we have connected the accessories, crevice nozzle and combined brush, it will serve to shed light on where we are cleaning. I remind you that in case of dust there is never too much light. To turn it on/off, press the button with the light bulb symbol

DISPLAY LED
The LED display, rectangular form factor, will indicate the % of battery remaining (4-notch scale), remaining minutes of autonomy, the suction power level, the lights on (the green one on the brush and the white one on the motor block), any errors. There is also a nice colorful animation that will indicate the suction power, increasing in green, blue, purple and red power

HOW IT CLEANS
As far as cleaning the floor is concerned, the result is decidedly good thanks to the 30Kpa of suction which is a very respectable value. If you use it every day you can also keep the ECO power level, but if you use it 2/3 times a week it will be better to use higher powers. Also tested on carpets, with level 1 to avoid the risk of ruining it, and the result is satisfactory. The accessories are certainly convenient but the motorized brush for upholstery is missing, the one that many vacuum cleaners have and which allows us to thoroughly clean sofas, mattresses, etc. but at this price it was almost impossible to expect to find it supplied. One thing that pleasantly surprised me is the really well made brush joint. The mobility is really excellent, in fact we will be able to tilt the tube up to Inline sideways and up to Inline vertically. We will therefore be able, perhaps with a little effort to lower ourselves, to clean even under the furniture where normally only those with a flexible hose can reach.
Already tested on the Proscenic, the green light on the motorized brush is always convincing. I had already seen the difference between vacuum cleaners with and without light and I can confirm that there is an abyss in favor of the former. The LED light is essential for seeing the dust on the floor, even if the environment is well lit. And this GREEN one is even better than the classic white one. I even tried using it with the house light off and I assure you that not a single hair on my kitten escaped me! He therefore predicts that we will find it more and more often in future models, including those from other brands.

What didn't convince me is the absence of the automatic mode, a mode that would allow us not to worry about how much dirt is on the floor as it would regulate the suction power on its own. Here we say that it is there but only in case of obstruction of the collection tube, so in my opinion it is a useless method.
Also tested the accessories that work well, do not differ from the quality of those of more expensive models. The power button is also good, which must not be held down, but is used precisely to turn ours on and off Ultenic U12 Vesla
FINAL CONSIDERATIONS
In conclusion what can I say about this Ultenic U12 Vesla? Well, as always you have to compare the results obtained to the price. The list price is around €270 which objectively seems a bit too much to me, but thanks to Ranvee and our coupon you can take it home with a significant discount, in addition to a 50% discount and at this price things change. For what it offers us I would say that it is a justified and really very good expense.
