Gone are the days when cleaning the house meant turning into Cinderella, abandoning our social life and becoming a wreck from exhaustion. Those days are over, thanks to constantly evolving technology that has led to the creation of the new UWANT D700, a floor-cleaning vacuum cleaner with unique features. I'm sharing this review after using it thoroughly for over three weeks—in fact, I use it every day—but let's cut to the chase and discover the new UWANT D700.
We cannot help but start with the unboxing, which is particularly satisfying, not only for the brand's obsessive packaging but also for the equipment itself, which includes the following:
- UWANT D700;
- charging base with easy entry/exit insert;
- spare roller;
- replacement HEPA filter;
- maintenance and cleaning brush;
- detergent;
- multilingual instruction manual;

The UWANT D700 is a floor-cleaning/scrubber-drying vacuum cleaner that picks up both solids and liquids in a single pass, saving you time and effort. The basic idea is to combine a traditional mop with a traditional vacuum cleaner, achieving the desired cleaning result in a single pass and, more importantly, with the efficiency of using both separately. Of course, the product can also be used in vacuum mode only. The charging base stands out from the crowd, featuring a ramp that allows you to dock the vacuum cleaner while charging without having to lift it off the floor. You can essentially finish cleaning by carrying the UWANT D700 directly to the base without any effort. This makes it much easier and more convenient to put it away or take it out, and the operation is less tiring even for the less able-bodied or elderly. Furthermore, this design ensures that residual dirty water in the brush does not drip onto the floor when putting it away.

The base takes up a fair amount of space, being slightly larger than its competitors, but the ramp can still be removed for cleaning under running water. You'll need to find a suitable location, but aside from that, the construction of each component is top-notch, despite the use of plastic materials, which are perfectly assembled and of good quality. The device is very sturdy both to the eye and to the touch, and in use. Its lines are modern and minimalist, similar to those of its competitors. The UWANT D700 folds 180° on the floor, allowing it to reach hard-to-reach spaces, such as raised sofas, beds, and furniture. A small wheel on the back allows the product to slide more easily across the floor when fully laid out.

Dirt and cleaning water flow into a 700 ml tank, while the clean water tank holds 650 ml, both capacities in line with the market average. The tanks are separate, yet the same container is located on the back of the main body. It's easy to disassemble and fill, but two surprising features stand out. The first is that the solid waste is perfectly separated from the dirty water thanks to a dedicated grid and filter. The second, unique surprise is that this tank is equipped with an antibacterial deodorant stick that prevents bad odors for 7 days. So even if you forget to clean it for days, when you do the maintenance, it won't smell like a dead body in your home. The stick lasts at least 90 days.

Another unique innovation of the UWANT D700 is the use of a tangle-free D-brush, which delivers 35 Newtons of pressure at 320 revolutions per minute. The unique D-shape allows for greater floor coverage and allows the D700 to clean perfectly flush with walls, such as baseboards. Specifically, it provides 2 mm edge cleaning on 3 sides, allowing for perfect vacuuming and washing of even the tightest corners, leaving nothing behind. The roller can be easily removed and replaced thanks to a quick-release button. The wheels are not motorized but rotate 360°, making maneuvering the vacuum cleaner easier and more convenient, especially when vacuuming close to walls. Another unique feature compared to the competition is worth noting: the end of the handle can be locked and unlocked as needed for more convenient and immediate control of the floor cleaner. The brush also features a serrated scraper that captures hair and prevents tangles. The only flaw, or rather, omission, is the lack of a front LED light to illuminate dark spaces, a shame considering the product's low noise level of just 58 dB (A), which would theoretically allow for late-night cleaning without disturbing neighbors.

There is actually a light on the brush, but it's not there to illuminate, but rather to reveal a valuable feature at work. When this white light is on, it means water electrolysis is taking place. Electrolyzed water is treated through the process of electrolysis, which breaks down ordinary water into acidic and alkaline solutions, rich in various ions. This process, by applying an electric current to the water (often with the addition of salts to improve conductivity), creates water with unique properties such as sterilization, disinfection, and degreasing. It is used in sectors such as healthcare, home improvement, agriculture, and the food industry for its cleaning and disinfection capabilities. Our UWANT D700 eliminates 99,9% of germs and battery life, relying on 20000 Pa suction power from a powerful brushless motor.

Another surprising feature of the UWANT product is its floor cleaning performance. Unlike competing models, it leaves no streaks and, more importantly, cleans evenly thanks to the automatic water and suction adjustment. Water is dispensed through 24 uniform holes, ensuring streak-free cleaning. The main body features a color LED display that provides information about the current cleaning mode, remaining battery life, and any warnings, including voice prompts. Unfortunately, there's no Italian language option, at least not on my unit, which was provided before the official launch. Speaking of controls, the handle features the on/off button, the washing mode switch, and the water electrolysis activation/deactivation button. Next to the display is a button for adjusting the amount of water used during cleaning, choosing between three different levels, and increasing or suppressing the volume of voice prompts.

Regarding the ways of using the UWANT D700, these are 3 and are configured in
- SMART: The water flow and suction power are automatically adjusted based on the dirt detected by the sensor
- TURBO: Maximum power is used for vacuuming and washing floors. Useful for stubborn stains and when you need to pick up a lot of dirt.
- SUCTION ONLYI shouldn't even have to explain it, but in this mode we only vacuum the dirt on the floor without washing the floors.

As for the washing modes, we can then decide whether to use electrolyzed water, which I recommend especially if you have children or pets, but also choose the amount of water to use, thus adapting the washing process to the type of floor. But how does it perform? Excellent, a real help with household chores: I managed to remove years-old dried-on stains, the ones we find under furniture when we move it, but also thoroughly clean kitchen baseboards, etc. Only on floors with grout did I have to make an extra pass in some cases, even forcing the brush pressure a bit, but overall I am completely satisfied. The UWANT D700 picked up everything without leaving anything on the floor. The particular D-shape is also useful for cleaning stairs, where the vertical part is usually neglected and, as mentioned, it does not leave streaks on the floor.
the amount of water dispensed is just right and never excessive, effectively using the UWANT D700 on any type of floor, even parquet.

Once you've finished cleaning and vacuuming your floors, simply place the product back into its base, using the easy-access ramp without lifting it off the ground. The D700 not only automatically starts charging, but also automatically cleans the roller with hot water at 100°C, followed by an air drying phase at 75°C and steam sterilization at 75°C. The automatic cleaning process eliminates all traces of dirt or bacteria, leaving you with a perfectly clean roller. Finally, let's talk about battery life, a point that often disappoints similar products but which, in the case of the UWANT D700, is truly surprising: I managed to achieve exactly the battery life declared by the brand, which is about 45 minutes without skimping on usage, thus cleaning the entire house on a single charge. This miracle is achieved thanks to a 6-cell 4000 mAh battery, while a full charge takes about 4 hours. Unfortunately, the battery cannot be removed: in case of problems, you must contact an authorized service center.
The UWANT D700 retails for €449, but right now it's on super introductory sale for €349. At this price, don't hesitate and buy it now. The D700 is an interesting and revolutionary product, offering truly thorough cleaning from the front and sides, and even under low furniture. It's a complete, practical product with virtually no maintenance, zero charging effort, and above all, innovative cleaning through electrolysis and without the use of chemicals. It's not perfect, it lacks some of the features and functions of top-of-the-line vacuums, but at its price, you really can't ask for more.
