Official Vivo X100s and X100s Pro, both with the powerful Dimensity 9300+ chip and Zeiss optics

The vivo X100s and its bigger brother, the X100s Pro, arrive with the new Dimensity 9300+ chipset. This processor brings with it an increase in performance, with the Cortex-X4 core reaching 3.4GHz and a 10% improvement in artificial intelligence tasks, while maintaining the ARM Immortalis-G720 GPU unchanged.

The Pro model takes advantage of the vivo V3 imaging chip, while the base model continues to use the previous V2. Despite this, both models boast a large image sensor, with the Pro equipping itself with one 989/1” IMX0.98 sensor, resulting in a more protruding camera module.

The battery is another strong point of these smartphones. The vivo X100s Pro offers a capacity of 5,400mAh, supporting a fast charging both via cable (100W) and wireless (50W). The vivo X100s, on the other hand, comes close with one battery from 5,100mAh, thanks to second generation silicon battery technology, even charging is possible only via cable at 100W.

Despite its slightly larger size, the vivo X100s Pro remains easy to handle and its design is enhanced by improved water resistance, with a IP69 certification which guarantees protection against high temperature and pressure water jets, in addition to the already present IPX8.

I displays of the two devices are of the 6.78 LTPO OLED type”, with a resolution of 1,260 x 2,800px and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 spectrum. Maximum brightness reaches 3,000 nits and PWM high-frequency dimming technology promises more than double the screen life.

Finally, the vivo X100s stands out for its flat display, unlike the curved display of the previous model, a choice that many users might appreciate as an improvement.

As for photography, the X100s Pro uses a 1/0.98" main sensor with f/1.75 lens and OIS, flanked by a ultra wide 50MP and a 50MP periscope with floating lens OIS design. The basic model, however, presents a camera 50MP main smaller and one 50MP periscope camera.

Smartphones are available in Titanium, Black and White/Dark Grey, colors and with a Green variant exclusive to the basic model.

I prices start from 4000 Yuan (510 euros) for the basic model and 5000 Yuan (640 euros) for the Pro model, both with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.
