The vivo Y29 4G is heavily touted for its durability. The device features advanced shock protection and has been certified military-grade MIL-STD-810H drop resistance. Additionally, the phone is IP64 certified for water and dust resistance. Vivo claims that the device will maintain a smooth experience for up to 50 months, which could indicate the length of software support.
The new entry level from vivo comes factory with Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 and includes some AI features for photo editing and a stronger wireless signal. It also offers the “Circle to Search” feature, which until a few months ago was reserved for premium devices.
