If there is a smartphone that has been able to make people speak well of itself in this first half of 2021 it is undoubtedly the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, a device that has been able to capture attention for its photographic and video performances, thanks to sensors of excellence optimized from a software point of view and integrated in an iconic bump camera that stands out not only for size but also for the presence of a secondary display, the same mounted on Mi Band 5, to which dedicated functions are associated as well as being able to be exploited for snapshots and selfies.
A decidedly interesting idea and creates uniqueness in the smartphone landscape, although this is not a novelty in the sector, but the even more interesting thing is that the company continues to believe in this solution so much that it integrates a new feature, released with the latest MIUI 12.5 dedicated to Mi 11 Ultra.
With the latest MIUI 12.5 for Mi 11 Ultra the Second Display will be the protagonist when you have the battery on "ground"
Let's assume that however splendid the Mi 11 Ultra may be, its Achilles heel is represented by the autonomy, perhaps insufficient for many geeks of the case and therefore in this regard the new update of MIUI 12.5, currently available only in China version Stable, introduces a new energy saving mode that will exploit the Second Display of Mi 11 Ultra.
As you can see in the image above, the item "Super power savers“Which consists in disabling the main screen allowing the smartphone to be managed only from the secondary display placed in the bump camera. Of course, the available functions will not be complete, but it will be possible to view the time, accept calls and make them only to emergency numbers. This will allow you to carry the smartphone up to 14 days of autonomy on a single charge.
More updates will probably arrive dedicated to the features of the Second Display and we will not fail to tell you about them. How many of you have bought Mi 11 Ultra?
