Still little known, even if we have already discussed the Wolfang brand, in a short time it has managed to carve out a strong position in the world of action cameras, with significant sales as it offers products with an excellent quality/price ratio. This is the case for example of the Wolfang GA200, which I am talking about today in this review, equipped with many accessories and ready to use, just in time for this summer.

UNBOXING COMPLETE WITH MANY ACCESSORIES
The first point Wolfang GA200 marks starting from the sales package, pleasing to the eye but above all full optional inside. In fact, inside the package we find the actual action cam, a double battery with relative charger to have double the autonomy, a lavalier microphone, a remote control to start recordings and take photos with relative wrist strap, the waterproof case up to 40 meters, an additional case for attaching a selfie stick and lots of GoPro-style hooks to connect the camera to practically everything, such as bike/motorbike handlebars, helmets and much more, we even find a cloth for cleaning the lens and screen . The number and type of accessories supplied should not be underestimated, considering that these often have to be purchased separately by shelling out tens of euros which are added to the cost of the room, whereas here everything is included.
CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS
The Wolfang GA200 arrives in a case that allows immersion in water depths up to 40 meters, so you can take extraordinary underwater shots. Once the camera has been removed from the case, it has a body entirely made of plastic but of good workmanship and resistance. The corners are slightly rounded, allowing the camera to be inserted inside a trouser pocket without creating discomfort.
At the top we find the on/off button which also acts as a switch between the camera's shooting modes and to enter the system menu and then we find the shutter button and action confirmation. On the left profile there is a mini HDMI input for connection to external monitors, a micro USB input for charging and connection to a PC for using the Wolfang GA200 as a webcam as well as being able to insert the lavalier microphone supplied in the package. Finally, always on the left profile we have the slot for inserting micro SD memory cards with support up to 1 TB. Unfortunately these entrances are not protected by any door or sheath.
The right profile is dedicated to two buttons that allow you to zoom in on the frame, but also to enter the menu, activate WiFi for connection with the smartphone app and switch the shot to the front video. We also find a small speaker to listen to the audio captured in the videos and the action camera's integrated microphone. The lower profile unfortunately does not have a 3/4″ screw connection but the battery compartment door offers a spring reinforcement for opening and closing, which is not so obvious. The highlight is found on the rear of the camera body, with the presence of a 2-inch touch display but above all on the front we have the optics and the second display for shooting in Vlog mode.
AUTONOMY
The battery life is very good, given that in the package there is a reserve battery (2 x 1050 mAh), from the tests carried out the sum of the two batteries is probably enough for what is a normal day of shooting, typically messy and with several breaks. In a nutshell we can get at least 80 minutes of shooting in 4K 30fps or 120 minutes with EIS active in 1080p 60fps mode. Values that double considering the double battery supplied.
READY FOR ADVENTURE
The Wolfang GA200 adapts to different situations and scenarios, whether sporting or personal such as holiday trips. At a software level we have EIS electronic stabilization which works well, it is not the best on the market but still accompanies the user by eliminating most of the vibrations even without an external stabilizer, but for truly action scenes it is not the highest quality. We can also take advantage of the camera's optics by capturing shots with 24 MP resolution, the performance of which I was particularly satisfied with.
The double display is convenient especially for those who like to check the details of the shot themselves before taking it, and then I must say that under direct sunlight both displays do not suffer from direct light at all. The camera menus and interface in general are simple, direct and easy to learn, navigating fluidly thanks to the touch screen, a function however only available for the main display. In any case, the app is also available for both Android and iOS systems which can help a lot in automatisms and remote control, although for that there is still the very convenient remote control (included), which is sometimes more convenient than the 'App because it does not suffer from the typical interference of a Wi-Fi signal. Another tasty mode to use on the Wolfang GA200 is that of Dashcam, recording in loop or as a Webcam simply by connecting it to the PC.

On paper, the Wolfang GA200 is capable of filming videos and taking photos with a 170° wide angle at the following resolutions:

Basically, very respectable characteristics for a model whose cost is under 100 euros. The shots are good, even if there is no HDR and the possibility of having videos in RAW, but I must admit that the color rendering is definitely above expectations, also with regards to the capture of the integrated microphone, returning audio clear and clean, while also being able to increase the quality by taking advantage of the wind cancellation software function. Naturally, I do not recommend using it at night as the background noise and the low brightness of the sensor would not give rise to sufficient footage, but in the rest of the situations I am satisfied with what I obtained in my tests.
CONCLUSIONS AND PRICE
If we consider the Wolfang GA200 as an Action Camera full of accessories, completely smart and waterproof up to 40 meters via its case at a cost of less than 100 euros, €79,99 to be precise, then this model is really interesting, because It offers performances that are absolutely not to be underestimated.
From a technical point of view we certainly find compromises, but it also depends on the point of view for which you intend to make the investment: a standard user who needs a device powerful enough, flexible and versatile enough to take shots (or to take them solo) will find in the Wolfang GA200 a valid adventure companion, simple to use and powerful enough to produce good material (video) in any situation, from the mountains to the sea.
