In recent weeks there has been a lot of talk about the next Xiaomi 12Lite, a mid-range smartphone that should complement Xiaomi's 12 series. Well, a new leak just revealed some more details about the device.

Indian blogger Yogesh Brar claims that the Xiaomi 12 Lite will come with a 6,55-inch screen, therefore a cross between the Xiaomi 12 which has a 6,28-inch panel and the Xiaomi 12 Pro which instead has a screen of 6,73 inches diagonal. So we can already say that the Mi 12 Lite will be a device that focuses mainly on the performance / price ratio and not on the small size as the name "Lite" would imply.
We also know that the screen will have Full HD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
As for performance, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. This chipset is based on TSMC's 6nm manufacturing process. It also comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (8GB + 256GB high-end versions are available)
As for photography, the Mi 12 Lite should be equipped with a total of three cameras on the back. These should include a 64MP main sensor with optical stabilization, an 8MP camera for taking ultra wide photos and a third 5MP camera for taking macro photos. In front we will find a 16MP sensor to be able to take high-resolution selfies.
From the standpoint of autonomy, the Xiaomi branded mid-range should integrate a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh. While for charging power, the smartphone should support 67W fast charging.
Finally, for the software, the device will run with the MIUI 13 operating system and will have support for on-screen fingerprint recognition.
