This morning Xiaomi started the preorder phase for the new Xiaomi 12 Lite in Azerbaijan, the first mid-range smartphone of the 12 series.

The device features a slim and light design, with a thickness of only 7,29mm and a weight of only 173g, so it is thinner than the iPhone 13 and has the same weight as the iPhone 13 (the iPhone 13 has a thickness of 7,65 mm and weighs 173 g).
Furthermore, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is equipped with three cameras on the back, among these we find a 108 megapixel main camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro lens. For selfies we have a 32 megapixel front camera instead.
In terms of internal specifications, the Xiaomi 12 Lite uses a 6,55-inch flat screen of the AMOLED type with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, supports the Dolby Vision standard and the HDR10 + function.
As for performance, the smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space.
From the standpoint of autonomy, the Xiaomi 12 comes with a battery capacity of 4300 mAh and support for flash charging from 67 W. According to the official introduction, the Xiaomi 12 Lite can be charged to 50% in just 13 minutes. and the smartphone comes standard with a charger.
As for prices, according to various rumors from Azerbaijan, the Xiaomi 12 Lite should have a presale price of 999 Azerbaijani manats, about 560 euros at the current exchange rate, a price that seems a bit high, but realistic.
We just have to wait for its Global presentation to find out the prices for Italy and the other specifications not yet officially revealed.
