Anticipating it with the well-known slogan "One more thing", the president and founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, today announced the new Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition.
Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition presented in China: the first with the Dimensity 9000+ chip
As the name suggests, the Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition is powered by a MediaTek chip from the Dimensity series, in particular we find the brand new Dimensity 9000+ which also makes its world debut. The processor is then assisted by LPDDR5 type RAM memory and UFS 3.1 type internal memory. We also find a new VC cooling system inspired by plants with an area of 2900mm² and FEAS 2.0 technology that improves performance.
The 2 Pro Dimensity Edition is then equipped with a huge 6,73-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of, 2K resolution and LTPO type (the same as the 12S Pro). The panel also has a maximum brightness of 1500 nits.
For photos, the smartphone integrates a 50MP main sensor, the 707 / 1 ″ Sony IMX1,28, along with a 13MP ultra wide lens with 123 degrees FOV and a 5MP telemacro camera. In front we find instead a 32MP sensor to take selfies.
As for autonomy and charging, the smartphone is equipped with a large 5160mAh battery and supports fast charging with a maximum power of 67W. The Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition also adopts the Surge P1 fast charging chip which greatly improves the charging efficiency.
Other features on board the device include dual speaker audio, Hi-Res Dolby Atmos with the collaboration of Harman / Kardon and WiFi 6 160Mhz.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition will be sold in China starting from July 12 at the price of 3999 yuan (570 euros) for the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, and 4499 yuan (640 euros) for the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
