Xiaomi 12 Pro stripped: here is the video teardown of the new flagship

One day after the release of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, the Chinese blogger Lou Bin Robin has now released the teardown of the new device.

Xiaomi 12 Pro stripped: here is the video teardown of the new flagship

As we can see in the video, after removing the back cover, the Xiaomi 12 Pro still uses a sandwich structure that includes a total of three levels. While to cool the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, heat dissipation films, a copper foil, silicone grease and a large VC liquid cooling plate are used, precisely from 2900 mm2.

In terms of camera specifications, in addition to the main camera, which is the world's first Sony IMX 707 sensor, the other two 50MP secondary cameras use the Samsung ISOCELL JN1 with a size of 1 / 2,76 inch and 5P lens for the camera telephoto and 6P for ultra wide angle, while the main camera uses a 7P + lens with optical image stabilization. As for selfies, we have a 32MP sensor, the OV32B40, so sensors from the three main smartphone CMOS sensor factories in the world have been used.

In terms of flash memory and RAM, the blogger reveals that SK Hynix LPDDR5 RAM has been used, while the internal storage is the SK Hynix UFS 3.1.

But what is most striking about the teardown are the four crossover speakers (high + low) arranged diagonally up and down. At the same time, the X-axis linear vibration motor is also larger than most Android manufacturers, for a vibration comparable to that of the iPhone.

In other respects, some users were concerned that the Xiaomi 2 Pro could use a short focus type in-screen fingerprint sensor, but we actually find an ultra-thin, more expensive and accurate screen fingerprint solution.
