Its name is supposed to be Sony IMX800 and according to the source it will be bigger than Samsung's ISOCELL Bright GN2.

In particular, the source reveals that the sensor size of the Sony IMX800 reaches an area of 1 / 1,1 of an inch, therefore larger than the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GN2 sensor which instead has a surface area of 1 / 1,12 of an inch. While the sensor resolution will be 50MP.
It is worth noting that SamMobile has always given the news that Xiaomi could be the first smartphone to launch this sensor and specifically we should find it on the next Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra.
Recall that previously the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra was the first smartphone on the market with the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GN2 sensor on board, with the dimensions of this sensor they had precisely reached 1 / 1,12 inches. At the same time, the "Night Owl" algorithm developed by Xiaomi was also added which made it a global force in the photographic sector, dominating DxOMark and winning the nickname of "The Light of Android".
