According to rumors in recent months, Xiaomi will release its first 200 megapixel main camera phone, the Xiaomi 12T Pro, by the end of the month.
Xiaomi 12T Pro caught on Geekbench: chipset confirmed
Well, today a leakster found updates on the device in question in the Geekbench database. The screenshot from the well-known benchmark platform shows us that the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ processor. As for the scores, however, we have a single core score of 1300 and a multi core score of 4061.
In any case, several previous leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 12T Pro should be an improved version of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition. So except for the 200 megapixel main camera upgrade, the other specs should be pretty much identical.
This means that the biggest selling point of the smartphone will be the 1.5K screen, which is a specially customized screen from Xiaomi. The brand claims that the panel is capable of achieving a resolution close to 2K with a power consumption of a 1080P resolution screen. In particular we are talking about a resolution of 2712 × 1220 and a PPI up to 446.
In terms of performance, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition was equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ processor, along with 5Mbps LPDDR6400 RAM and UFS3.1 high-speed flash memory. The Xiaomi 12T Pro is also expected to inherit this trident of high-end specs.
In other respects, the smartphone will adopt a built-in 5000 mAh battery, will support 120W wired ultra-fast charging and will have a module with a total of three cameras in the back.
Now we just have to wait for its official presentation which, as mentioned above, should take place in September.
