The next Xiaomi mid-range continues to be talked about, the 12T that we should see on the market soon. Today a smartphone with model number 22071212AG has in fact obtained the NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) certification, which suggests a possible launch for the month of September.
Xiaomi 12T with certified 200MP camera: it could arrive next month
In previous weeks we learned that Xiaomi will launch two models within the 12T series, the basic version and the Pro version. Among them, the 12T is expected to be equipped with a 100 megapixel main camera, while the 12T Pro is expected to be equipped with a 200 megapixel main camera. This would make it the first smartphone of the Chinese brand with a 200 megapixel camera
Furthermore, according to previous reports, the main camera of the Xiaomi 12T Pro would use the new Samsung ISOCELL Bright HP1 sensor, with a sensor size reaching 1 / 1,22 inches, therefore larger than what we find in the Sony IMX707. In fact, remember that the Sony IMX707 is a large sensor with a diagonal of 1 / 1,28 inches.
In any case, the real advantage of the Xiaomi 12T Pro's main camera will be its high resolution. With a 200MP sensor, the resolution of the photos taken by the Xiaomi 12T Pro will exceed those of the "Super flagship", or the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. So with the two smartphones in comparison, the 12T Pro will take much sharper and more detailed photos.
In terms of the basic configuration, the Mi 12T should almost certainly be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, while the more premium Xiaomi 12T Pro should be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ processor.
In general we can consider the Xiaomi 12T Pro, a rebrand of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition but with a 200MP camera. We also expect the design to be similar to that of the K50 Extreme Edition.
