In particular, it has been confirmed that the Mi 12 will use a 6,28-inch curved screen with Full HD + resolution, while the Mi 12 Pro will be upgraded to a curved screen with 2K resolution. Both displays have achieved DisplayMate A + certification and set 15 new records in the “smartphone screen” category.

That said, the Chinese brand is still taciturn on the specifications of the next Xiaomi 12X, despite the fact that Xiaomi's product manager, Wang Teng, has already confirmed the existence of this new device. Furthermore, the official teasers seem to deliberately avoid this model, which can only make everyone more curious.
Well, today the Chinese media revealed that the Xiaomi 12X will be almost identical to the Xiaomi Mi 12 in terms of basic design and configuration, except that the chipset is replaced with a Snapdragon 870.
Furthermore, as far as the screen is concerned, the Mi 12X should use the exact same panel as the Mi 12. We are talking about a top-of-the-range screen created specifically for Xiaomi by Huaxing Optoelectronics. This will not only cause the screen quality of the device to reach the flagship level, but will also share the cost of customizing the screen to reduce the price.
So, according to Xiaomi in the previous days, these two smartphones will be very handy, with a phone width of only 69,9 mm. Coupled with the curved front and back design, it will look better than the iPhone 13 when held with one hand, as the perceived size is reduced thanks to the curves.
On the negative side, many expected a smaller display on the Xiaomi 12X compared to the base Xiaomi 12, but apparently this will not be the case.
