The two devices (standard and Pro) share the same matrix even if there are some small differences. Let's take a look at what the base model's display capabilities are and why he convinced industry insiders.
We have seen that the 13 Pro model of the brand's latest flagship did not impress. But how does the Xiaomi 13 screen behave?
The basic model Xiaomi 13 passed the screen test in the DxOMark laboratory. Experts rated the readability, brightness, color reproduction and other characteristics of the smartphone screen - it managed compete with the flagships of other companies and to enter the top five devices in its price category. Xiaomi 13 has a screen 6″ Samsung E6.38 AMOLED with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (20:9, 414 ppi). The maximum refresh rate of the matrix is 120 Hz, the declared peak brightness is 1900 thread. It also has 3% DCI-P100 gamut coverage and also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
In general, the smartphone display made a positive impression among experts. Experts rated the minimum brightness level as comfortable, but a relatively high PWM level, unless the DC Dimming function was activated in the settings. Another drawback are the ghost click when using the smartphone with one hand. When watching a video or playing a game, the Xiaomi 13's screen showed only positive qualities: there were no traces of color or other artifacts on the display, the reliability of color reproduction did not cause any complaints, and the blue light filter did a great job.

According to the results of all tests, Xiaomi 13 placed at fourth place in its price range, losing one point to the iPhone 13. In the global ranking, the smartphone was in twentieth place, ahead of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Exynos version of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
