As some of you may remember, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra released in July 2022 is the first flagship born from the collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica. Last month Xiaomi also launched the brand new Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, but there is no news on the long-awaited Xiaomi 13S Ultra.
New Xiaomi flagship will be presented at MWC 2023: is it the 13S Ultra?
Well, today 91mobiles revealed that the company is preparing to unveil another model in the series for the first time at MWC 2023 next month. According to the site, it could be the Xiaomi 13S Ultra (although there is a possibility that it is the Xiaomi 13 Dimension Edition).
The source said that the highlight of this device will be the Leica optics, just like the other 13-series models. The new smartphone may use a 989-inch Sony IMX1 sensor and there will be some improvements over the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
As it stands, the other details regarding this device are still in a state of total confidentiality, so we don't know more, but the smartphone is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, along with a 2K resolution screen.
Furthermore, it has been reported that Xiaomi is already working on the successors of the Xiaomi Pad 5, namely the Xiaomi Pad 6 and 6 Pro, codenamed pipa and liuqin, which should be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 8+ chips.
The Mi Pad 6 Pro is also expected to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 1880×2880 pixels, and is also expected to feature quad speakers and a dual rear camera layout. Unfortunately for us Italians, there are rumors that the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro with the model number M81 will only be available in China. So the same treatment as the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro.
