Xiaomi 14 Civi official: the selfie phone arrives on the international market

Xiaomi has finally launched it Xiaomi 14 Civi in India. The smartphone stands out as the first device in India to boast a quad-curved display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, besides offering high performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.

The design of the Xiaomi 14 Civi is taken care of down to the smallest details, with a 6,55 inch premium OLED display which has curves on all four sides. This LTPO panel offers a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz and 12-bit color (HDR10+, Dolby Vision), with a peak brightness of 3.000 nits. The protection Gorilla Glass Victus 2 ensures superior resistance to impacts and scratches.

On the camera front, the Xiaomi 14 Civi does not disappoint expectations. There dual 32MP selfie camera, one with a wide lens and the other ultra-wide, allows you to record videos in 4K at 30fps and take selfies in slow motion. Additionally, there is a teleprompter mode specifically designed for vloggers.

The rear cameras are equally impressive, with Leica Vario-Summilux lenses. The 50MP “Light Fusion 800” main camera It features a bright image sensor with 1.0µm pixels and optical image stabilization (OIS). Next to it, we find one 50MP portrait camera with a 50mm (2x) lens and an f/1.98 aperture, while the 12MP ultra-wide camera offers a 120° field of vision.

As for performance, the smartphone integrates the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset flanked by up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The vapor chamber cooling system ensures that the device stays cool even during intensive use. The in-house developed Xiaomi Surge T1 chip improves network performance, promising significant improvements in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular and GPS performance.

The device comes with a battery 4700mAh which supports the wired charging is 67W. Other notable features include NFC, IR emitter, dual SIM slot (without microSD) and an in-display fingerprint reader.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi is available in India at a price of 43000 Indian rupees (480 euros) for the 8/256GB model
