Xiaomi 15: Display, Chip, Camera Specs Leaked

Xiaomi 15 Pro

Speaking of which, the Xiaomi 15 series is slated to launch shortly after Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip is announced on October 21, though strangely there's still little information available on the upcoming flagships. Xiaomi, especially on the standard model.

Well, today the well-known leakster Yogesh brar shared the main specifications of the Xiaomi 15The phone is expected to boast a 6,36-inch flat AMOLED display with resolution 1.5K, the same size and resolution as the Xiaomi 14.

While no information on brightness was mentioned, a previous rumor suggests that the Xiaomi 15 series will debut with a TCL Huaxing C9 panel, capable of reaching higher brightness and offering more accurate colors. Therefore, the Xiaomi 15 series is also likely to offer higher brightness than its predecessor. For context, the Xiaomi 14 reaches 1000 nits in full sunlight and 3000 nits (peak brightness) when playing HDR content.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen lite

The phone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset (or Snapdragon 8 Elite) and one battery from 5500 mAh. While it is still relatively smaller than some of its competitors like the Oppo Find X8 or the vivo X200 Pro Mini, it is a big leap from the predecessor's 4610mAh capacity. It could be paired with a 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

As for the cameras, the phone comes with a 50MP triple setup on the back, which includes a OV50H main sensor and a 3,2X telephoto lens. This represents a departure from the predecessor’s Light Fusion 900 (50MP) main sensor. The OV50H delivers phenomenal low-light performance and autofocus with dual gain conversion (DCG) technology, powered by 1,2 micron (µm) pixels in a 1/1,3-inch optical format.

We just have to wait for further details to confirm all the specifications and features of the device.
